Can I send a bulk WhatsApp or Instagram broadcast to anyone, anytime?

No, and that's deliberate. KlyoChat respects Meta's 24-hour messaging window per contact — inside it you can send freely, outside it WhatsApp requires an approved template. Enforcing that, instead of letting you blast a cold list, is what keeps your account from being flagged or banned.

Will I still pay Meta's per-message fees?

Yes — Meta charges per template message delivered, priced by category and the recipient's country, and no tool can waive that. What KlyoChat does is keep the bill predictable: it only sends templates you've approved, excludes opted-out contacts, and shows a dry-run count before anything queues.

How do opt-outs work across channels?

Consent is tracked per contact, per channel. When someone opts out they're removed from that channel's future sends automatically, and the opt-out path is part of every broadcast by default rather than something you have to remember to add.

What's the difference between a KlyoChat broadcast and a WhatsApp broadcast list?

A WhatsApp broadcast list, built in the phone app, is capped at 256 contacts and only reaches people who have saved your number — so it doesn't scale. A KlyoChat broadcast runs through the official WhatsApp Business API, so it targets any opted-in segment you define, with scheduling, personalization, and delivery tracking a manual list can't give you.

Do people need to have messaged me or saved my number first?

They need to have opted in, but not to have saved your number the way app broadcast lists require. Within 24 hours of a contact's last message you can send freely; outside that window, WhatsApp requires an approved template. On Instagram, automated messages go to people who engaged with you recently, per Meta's rules — KlyoChat only sends where the platform allows.

How many WhatsApp messages can I send in a day?

Meta decides that, not KlyoChat. New unverified numbers start around 250 business-initiated conversations a day, and after Business Verification you climb tiers — roughly 1,000, then 10,000, then 100,000, then unlimited — as long as your quality rating stays healthy. Those thresholds move, so check Meta's current limits; KlyoChat paces sends to fit whatever tier you're on.

How do dynamic segments work?

Instead of a fixed list, you set a rule — opt-in status, tag, channel, last-active, custom field — and the segment fills itself with everyone who matches. Because it recomputes at send time, a scheduled broadcast reaches whoever qualifies then, not whoever qualified when you drafted it.

Can I schedule a broadcast for later, in each contact's timezone?

Yes — that's the design. Queue a send for a specific moment and, if you want, deliver it at that local hour in each contact's own timezone, so a 9am message lands at 9am for everyone. The window and opt-in checks run again at send time, not back when you wrote it.

When does a message need an approved WhatsApp template?

Any time a contact is outside Meta's 24-hour window — more than 24 hours since they last messaged you — WhatsApp only allows a pre-approved template. KlyoChat flags exactly which contacts in your segment need one before you send, and fills each template's variables per person, so a re-engagement send can't quietly break the rules.

Will bulk broadcasting get my account flagged or banned?

Not if you send to people who opted in, through the official API, with on-policy content — the pattern KlyoChat is built to enforce. The quickest path to a ban is cold, unsolicited sends that trigger spam reports and sink your quality rating. No tool can guarantee against platform action for misuse, but honoring opt-outs, respecting the window, and pacing volume is what keeps a number healthy.

Can I personalize each broadcast?

Yes. Merge a contact's first name and other fields into the message, and for template sends KlyoChat maps every variable per contact automatically. Messages that reference who someone is, and why they're hearing from you, convert better and draw fewer spam reports than a generic blast.

Can I preview exactly who will receive a broadcast before it sends?

Yes — run it as a dry-run first. Before a single message queues, KlyoChat shows your segment size, how many contacts are inside the 24-hour window, how many need a template, and how many are excluded for opting out — so there are no surprises when you hit send.

Which channels will I be able to broadcast to?

Broadcasts will follow the channels KlyoChat already supports: Telegram, Facebook, and Instagram are live in the inbox today, with WhatsApp Business rolling out and TikTok and X next. Each channel keeps its own consent state and limits, so one draft respects the right rules per platform. There's no native SMS or email.

How is this different from ManyChat or Respond.io broadcasts?

The broadcast mechanics are comparable, but the pricing models differ — ManyChat bills by contact count, Respond.io by monthly active contacts, and both add Meta's WhatsApp fees on top, so costs can climb as your audience grows. KlyoChat bundles broadcast volume into flat plans alongside the inbox, flows, and AI agents. Pricing and limits change often, so always check each tool's current numbers before you decide.

Which plan will include Broadcasts, what will it cost, and how fast can I set one up?

Broadcasts is planned as part of the existing plans, not a separate per-feature add-on, though the exact tier and included volume are still being finalized — check current pricing when it ships. Once live, a broadcast is three steps: pick a segment, compose (choosing a template for out-of-window contacts), and schedule or send — a couple of minutes, no code.

In KlyoChat, you target a saved group or a dynamic segment that recomputes at send time, and every contact is checked against Meta's 24-hour window and their own opt-in state before a single message queues.
