Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of the KlyoChat platform. By using KlyoChat, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Prohibited uses

You may not use KlyoChat to:

  • Sending unsolicited commercial messages (spam) to users who have not opted in
  • Sending messages that violate Meta, WhatsApp, Instagram, or Telegram platform policies
  • Distributing malware, phishing links, ransomware, or any malicious code
  • Impersonating KlyoChat, other businesses, or individuals
  • Facilitating illegal activities including fraud, money laundering, or identity theft
  • Collecting personal data without proper consent or disclosure
  • Using KlyoChat to harass, threaten, or abuse any person
  • Selling counterfeit goods or infringing intellectual property
  • Promoting or glorifying violence, terrorism, or hate speech
  • Violating any applicable local, national, or international laws
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or access non-public APIs
  • Reselling access to KlyoChat without our written permission

Restricted categories

The following categories require extra care and may require additional verification:

Adult contentMust be used on age-verified platforms only
Financial servicesMust comply with applicable financial regulations
HealthcareMust comply with HIPAA and applicable health data laws
Political campaignsMust disclose political nature of messages
GamblingOnly where legally permitted in recipient's jurisdiction

Messaging standards

All messages sent through KlyoChat must:

  • Comply with anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, etc.)
  • Include a clear opt-out mechanism where required
  • Accurately represent the sender
  • Not use deceptive subject lines or messaging
  • Comply with platform-specific messaging policies (Meta, WhatsApp Business Policy, etc.)

Enforcement

KlyoChat may review accounts for AUP compliance. Violations may result in:

  1. Warning and required remediation
  2. Temporary account suspension
  3. Permanent account termination
  4. Reporting to law enforcement where required
